Calvary’s Origin
In 1943 Pastor Stanley Chambers fresh off establishing his first church in Hazleton PA felt the call to start another In Sunbury. Calvary Tabernacle was born and has been preaching the gospel for eight decades.
Services
Sunday mornings at ten a.m. we gather for Sunday school classes of all ages. Traditional worship in the sanctuary precedes adult Bible study. After this time we all come together for worship and preaching.
Wednesday's at 7 we have prayer followed by Bible study and children’s classes simultaneously held in the Sunday school area.

Pastor Dennis Moore and his wife Stephanie welcome you to our loving church. They have served in various capacities in ministry over the last 25 years. They Pastored in the states for eight years before leaving as the appointed representatives of the UPCI of Israel and Palestine from 2011 to 2021.
